Welcome to Under the Oaks, a fun, vintage-inspired lakefront getaway on Lake Hamilton! Set beneath beautiful mature oaks with a huge yard and an easy walk to the water, this is a place made for laid-back lake days, family fun and evenings outside.

Spend the day on the water from your private dock, grab a kayak and explore the lake, come back for a soak in the hot tub, challenge the family to shuffleboard or foosball, then wind down around the firepit. Best of all, you're just a short drive from the best of Hot Springs.

🌊 LAKE DAYS WITHOUT THE STEEP CLIMB

One of the things we love most about Under the Oaks is how easy it is to get to the lake. Many lake homes require navigating steep hills or long flights of stairs to reach the water. Here, the large yard provides a much easier, more gradual walk from the house to your private dock on Lake Hamilton.

Bringing a boat? Launching is easy and convenient at Hill Wheatley Park, approximately 7 minutes away, then bring your boat back and keep it in one of the property's two available boat slips during your stay. Or grab one of the four provided kayaks and explore the lake right from the property.

🌳 A BIG YARD MADE FOR HANGING OUT

The spacious lakefront yard is a big part of what makes Under the Oaks special. Mature oaks provide plenty of shade and lots of ways to slow down and enjoy the outdoors. Take a turn on the wooden tree swing, relax in the porch swing, curl up in the hammock under the deck, or settle into one of the swinging egg chairs around the firepit.

There's plenty of room for cornhole, KanJam and lawn games, or simply relaxing outside while the kids play. Grill dinner, dine outside, soak in the hot tub, gather around the firepit in the evening, or just enjoy the lake from beneath the oaks.

🎮 FUN INSIDE, TOO

Lake days don't have to end when you come inside. Challenge the family to shuffleboard or foosball, play a round of Pac-Man on the arcade game, settle in for a movie, or just spread out and relax after a day on the water.

🏇 A LITTLE VINTAGE HOT SPRINGS FUN

Inside, we've leaned into the personality of Hot Springs with vintage-inspired signs and artwork celebrating the National Park, horse racing and lake life.

It's comfortable, casual and fun—the kind of lake house where you're meant to kick back and enjoy yourself.

🛏️ SLEEPING & BATHROOMS

Under the Oaks sleeps up to 10 guests plus an infant in the provided crib.

Primary Suite: King bed + twin daybed with twin trundle. The private en suite bathroom has double sinks, a separate shower and soaking tub.

King Bedroom: King bed.

Queen Bedroom: Two queen beds.

The king and queen bedrooms share the home's second full bathroom, which features double sinks and a tub/shower combination.

📌 GOOD TO KNOW

There is no boat ramp directly on the property. Guests bringing a boat can conveniently launch at Hill Wheatley Park, approximately 7 minutes away, and keep their boat in one of the property's two available boat slips during their stay. The neighboring boat ramp is private property and may not be used by guests.

Four kayaks and paddles are provided. Life jackets/PFDs are not provided, so guests planning to use the kayaks must bring and wear a properly fitting U.S. Coast Guard-approved PFD.

This is a direct lakefront property with unfenced access to Lake Hamilton. Children must be closely supervised around the lake, dock and hot tub.

Only Under the Oaks' designated private dock with two boat slips is included with your stay. The nearby smaller dock with two lounge chairs and the neighboring dock with a slide belong to neighboring properties and are not available for guest use, even though they may appear to be associated with this home.

💧 SEASONAL LAKE LEVELS

Lake Hamilton undergoes an annual seasonal drawdown that generally occurs between November and March. During this period, the water level at the property and dock may be significantly lower than shown in listing photos, and swimming, kayaking, boating or use of the boat slips may be limited or unavailable. The exact timing and extent of the drawdown and lake levels are outside our control.

No pets. No parties or events. Primary renter must be 25+.
